What are terpenes? Terpenes are a special class of essential oils produced by many plants and some insects. Terpenes are aromatic compounds responsible for giving cannabis and other plants their distinctive scents. Far from being just a series of phenomenal scents, these little molecules may have far-reaching therapeutic benefits.
